50 Ways To Take A Break

If you like me, find yourself burning the candle at both ends sometimes, it's good to find ways to relax and just take a break from everything. So here are 50 things to do when you just need that little time out! Hope they help!


1. Take a long relaxing bath.

2. Listen to some of your favourite music.

3. Take a cat nap.

4. Go to the lake, a river, the beach - be near water and just be calm.

5. Fly a kite. 


6. Watch the stars.

7. Watch the clouds. 

8. Learn something new. 

9. Rest your legs up against the wall. 

10. Let out a huge sigh. 


11. Write a letter. 

12. Sit under a tree. 

13. Move slowly. 

14. Listen to a guided relaxation CD.

15. Read a book. 


16. Meditate. 

17. Call an old friend.

18. Meander around town. 

19. Buy some flowers. 


20. Find yourself a new scent. 

21. Write a journal.

22. Tell yourself you're beautiful 

23. Go for a run (even if you like me, cannot run for toffee)

24. Eat something yummy. 


25. Go on a bike ride.

26. Pet a furry creature. 

27. Create your own kind of coffee break.

28. View some art.

29. Turn off all electronics for a time. 


30. Read or watch something funny. 

31. Examine an everyday object with new eyes.
